This outfit is apparently a show-stopper!

All morning, kind strangers have been stopping me as I've been out running errands to tell me how great I look, so I figured I'd better be a team player and share the details with you! The dress is available in a huge range of sizes, multiple colors, and it's super cheap! It's a total closet staple.

Here, the hemline hits my knees, but as you can see in the top picture, it sits higher comfortably depending on how you'd like to wear it!

This dress ruched dress is SO INEXPENSIVE! It's a total steal, and available in such a wide rage of sizes that I absolutely have to share it with you all. I'm a size 26 & my height is 5'7".  In this dress, I wear the 3x/3x Plus, and it's super stretchy, so fits my body with plenty of room- I'd guess it would fit someone up to a size 30. I got it here, on Amazon, and I bought it in almost every available color because it's such a versatile stunner! You can even adjust the length of it! I usually ruche it more so that the hemline sits at the top of my thighs, but if I straighten it out, it falls at my knees and still has plenty of ruching to stay true to the look!

When I put the dress on this morning, I felt the neckline needed a bit of a pop, so I've tied a skinny scarf into a bow for an effortlessly retro statement detail.

For this outfit, I decided to keep the footwear simple, coordinated, and a little edgy with a pair of cut-out Doc Marten boots to make sure the polkadot bow stays the star of the show!

  • When I'm wearing a statement bold or patterned accessory (scarves, patterned shoes, big necklaces, a busy headband, etc.), I usually like to keep the rest of the outfit simple so it doesn't become visually overwhelming. This is why I've kept the rest of the outfit black and the silhouette simple today.

  • On the flip side, there are totally days when I feel like mixing bold patterns- the key is to go big or go home! I either rock busy, mismatched patterns intentionally for a punk-rock/avant-garde look, or I keep it chic and simple by making sure my outfit coordinates to highlight a statement accessory.

The Details!

My Dress Size: 26, I ordered the 3x (The listing is kind of goofy.. there's a size option that says 3x and one that says 3x Plus. I've ordered these dresses in both sizes, and they're the exact same size, so either one should work.)

My Shoe Size: 10 in these Doc Marten boots, which run true to size

The Accessories: I ordered the scarf from Rue21, but it's no longer in stock, so I found you this one on Amazon that's basically the same! It's even less expensive than the one I'm wearing! Score.
